ytd i don have enough sleep.. today come to GEL like half-dead already.. but i have to pretend i'm very away and energise because teacher is there.. hehehe.. today go to work too tired already till i actually took the train to punggol then to chinatown in order to have a seat in the train to sleep.. hehe.. when reach the office, mrs lai is there...
there's only 4 ppl in the office... 4 ppl took off today.. so sian.. when i reach the office and was enjoying the HAN's sandwich, Yvonne (a ger who's in charge of us) suddenly wanted all of us to help out in the other IT department. they wanted us to actually help their agents (those to actually sell insurance for GEL) to update their software and solve the technical problems that their personal notebook has.. firstly, i don even know what the hell am i suppose to do and if i install or delete the wrong thing, i'll die.... all of us were very stress at first... we went to a big room at lvl 2 and they taught us what to do.. they actually never show us the proper steps by hands-on and expect us to understand and try it out ourself.. we were so stress and scare that we done the wrong thing. even mrs lai is scared and kept asking them questions..even yvonne could see us very stress and try to calm us down... the training only lasted bout 30 mins and ppl started pouring into the room and we r so stress out.. don even wat to do.. however, the engineers there were very friendly, taught us how to do the things and solve the problems for us...
after a while, we got the hang of what to do and kept walking around and helping the agents to update and correct their errors... haha... some ppl even left their laptops wif their passwords and login id wif me because they need to attend a course.. so i have no choice but to take care of the laptops for them.. so risky, if i lost anything or do anything wrong wif their notebook, i'll die ... luckily, there's no problem at all... some of the agents were damn computer "retarded".. waahahahha... don even know how to shut down their laptop.. wahaha....some of the agents were bout the age of 50-60.. wahaha... but they were very nice.. chatting with me and joking around with me... there's even 2 guys who wanted to buy me coffee after work.. hahaha.. they want me to buy insurance from them.. haha.. but they were kidding la.. hahahaha.. so funny...but there are a few "chio" bus there.. i never saw any handsome guys over there.. hehehe...
the updating took quite long.. bout 30 mins.. and there are so many agents... over 200 or almost 300 ppl... they wait like hell and we also busy like hell.. there's also not enough helpers also... only got bout 12 helpers.. so pathetic... in the end, we even skip our lunch and eat only 1 pathetic bread. i almost don have time to go the the ladies too...haha.. i have make quite a few frens there today... one of them studies in NTU and is now having his attachment.. he's nice,funny and very helpful to me.. but i kept forgetting his name.. hahaha...he's quite clever too.. study JC leh.. hehehe...
anyway, today we are suppose to work overtime till 10pm but mrs lai manage to talk them out and they agreed to release us at 6pm..... so shag, tired and eyes pain when i walk out of the room..... really wanted to lie on the floor and sleep rite away... skip TKD training today.. so tired and i could not wear contact lense because my eyes is very pain. next tue or fri then i'll go.. hehe.. this sat never go out wif my gang. everybody is busy. next sat huh.. haha...
even though its tired and shag today, i feel very happy, busy, friendly, very helpful =p and made quite a lot of frens oever there... and of course, it also teaches me how to gain ppl's trust and communicate wif all types of ppl regarding age, characters and personality.. a nice day overall.....
